Nwly Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-10-05
These terms govern your use of the Nwly app and services, operated by Hawsabah ("we", "us"), based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. By using Nwly you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. What Nwly is
Nwly gathers headlines, summaries and links from news publishers and groups reports about the same story, so you can follow the news in one place. Nwly is a news aggregator: the articles belong to their publishers, and we do not write or endorse them.
2. Using Nwly
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and in any case at least 13 years old.
- Use Nwly lawfully and in good faith. Do not try to disrupt the service, access it by unauthorised means, scrape it at scale, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it to harm others.
- You may use Nwly without an account. Some features, such as comments, need one.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
4. Comments and what you post
- You keep ownership of what you write. By posting a comment you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within Nwly for as long as it is posted.
- Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, misleading or spam, or anything that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.
- You can report a comment in the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts. You can delete your own comments at any time.
- Reports and ideas you send us may be used to improve Nwly without obligation to you.
5. News content and third parties
Headlines, summaries, images and links in Nwly come from third-party publishers and belong to them or their licensors. Opening an article takes you to the publisher's own site, which has its own terms and policies. We do not guarantee that news content is accurate, complete or up to date. Grouping reports into a story is automatic and can be wrong; you can tell us in the app when it is.
6. Our rights
Nwly's software, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Open-source components are used under their own licences, listed in the app.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Nwly available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it, and may require an update to continue using it.
8. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Nwly is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content published by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app about changes that matter. Continuing to use Nwly after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
